Here is a very detailed test of the simracing specialist of SimHQ about:
- Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel
- Clubsport Pedals
- RennSport Wheel Stand
There a lot of great quotes so it is hard for me to select one.
What about this?
"Somehow
mere words aren’t up to the task of describing the feel, feedback,
responsiveness and accuracy of this product. Quite simply, the wheel
feels wonderful."
or this?
"Overall
the PWTS made RBR feel more "real" than any other wheel I’ve tried.
It’s just an opinion, but the PWTS quite simply comes closer than any other sim
racing controller to a feeling of true realism."
about the CSP
"The
Clubsport Pedals are so good, so precise that it’s hard to compare them with
other products. They are clearly in a class of their own."

"Once
you’ve set it up, the Rennsport Wheel Stand provides a surprisingly rock-stable
base for sim racing with a force feedback wheel. Whether the sim was rFactor,
Forza Motorsport 3 or Richard Burns Rally, the wheel stand held the PWTS / CSP
combo in firm position. In fact, it was more stable than the computer desk my
Logitech G27 wheel is attached to."

Thomas, can you clear up
Thomas, can you clear up something about the price of Clubsport pedals? In the RSWS review by SimHQ there is mention of the price recently being dropped to 149 (USD or Euros). I also saw a comment on the Forza website about that same price drop by a user who claimed to have ordered a set at the new price. Yet the Fanatec gameshop still shows 199.95. I've had two sets of defective standard pedals, and am looking forward to upgrading to the CSP's and finally getting my PWTS in complete working order. Is the price drop for real?
The price fdrop was just
The price fdrop was just for a limited period of time and it is now back to 199,95.
In case your pedals are defective we can work out a deal.
Thomas, anyone- Congrats on
Thomas, anyone- Congrats on the nice review. Quick question- do you know if it's possible to use the wheel on PC version of V8 Superstars Next Challenge video game? I tried it out but it won't recognize anything and gamepad or keyboard are the control controller choices in setup. Read-me states it works with lots of wheels including G25/27, the F430 wheel, etc.. Just wondering if anyone has gotten it to work w/ the Fanatec and how?
How is new firmware shaping
How is new firmware shaping up? Can you give some hints about features/fixes you are trying to add?
I am now liking the turbo S very much after fw 660. Only problem is that there is no damping controls in wheel and drift mode has too little settings(especially between setting 1 and 2).
cant wait until i order mine

Congrats! So. Where's the
Congrats!
So. Where's the problem? Take all of them ;) .
All of the descriptions are important hints on feedback, realism, etc.
By the way, Thomas, I always wonder why You don't have a section in the top navigation bar with all the good reviews You achieved. Maybe even sorted by product.
I mean there's no sense in hiding the good reviews, is there?
But who am I telling You how to run Your business ;).
Best of luck and keep up the good work.
Read this yesterday - great
Read this yesterday - great review. So tempted to order CSP.
I notice with the wheel
I notice with the wheel stand, That the screw at the bottom of the pole that you mount the wheel on, easily even though you tighten it all you can, It easily tilts when changing gear after a short time.
I guess a fix is to use a normal bolt and tighten it with a tool.
YEARH! I agree!! :)
