Do I really have to buy a new dongle or is it possible to download the PWTS-software to the PWT dongle (for free) like the first firmware-update?
Muß ich für die PS3-Kompatibilität wirklich einen neuen Dongle kaufen oder gibt's die Software vom PWTS auch als (kostenlosen) Download (ähnlich dem ersten FW-Update)?
Hey there im in Australia. I would like a PWTS dongle, as my pwt has problems with gt5 five even with the new firmware and everthing its very annoying.
How could i buy one of the pwts dongle in australia???
Da Du hier offensichtlich reinschaust und ich nicht sicher bin ob Du jemals in die Support-Forums schaust (weil ich da keine Antworten von Dir finde) schreibe ich einfach mal hierhin.
Wie kommt es, dass ich ein Produkt erwerbe, welches mich hunderte von Euros kostet und ich dazu aber keinen Support kriege?
Ich habe vor 2 Wochen ein Mail an den Support geschrieben und bis heute kein Wort zur Antwort gekriegt! Das ist nicht nur schlechter Support sondern erstens gar keiner und zweitens eine ziemliche Frechheit!
Im Forum hab ich ausserdem gelesen, dass es Leute gibt, welche seit 4 Wochen keine Reaktion auf Mails erhalten haben!
Was ist bloss los mit euch? Selbst wenn ihr 1000 Mails gekriegt habt sollte, nein muss es möglich sein eine kurze Antwortmail zu versenden, dass der Kunde weiss, dass er auf Support zählen kann.
Ich bitte Dich ein Statement zum nicht vorhandenen Support abzugeben bitte und versuch auch bitte nachzufühlen wie es Leuten wie mir zumute ist, wenn sie für viel Geld ein Produkt erwerben, welches fehlerhaft ist und dann ist niemand mehr da, der einem helfen will.
Komischerweise habe ich bei Fragen zur Bezahlung immer sofort eine Antwort erhalten......das wirft ein sehr schlechtes Licht auf diese Firma.

Ok, ich habe eben ein sehr freundliches Supportmail bekommen inkl. einer Entschuldigung.
Da ich nicht nachtragend bin habe ich die Entschuldigung natürlich akzeptiert und freue mich jetzt auf die Lösung meines Problemes.
Darf ich noch eine kleine Anmerkung machen bez. Support?
Sie würden Sich viele verärgerte Kunden ersparen wenn sie ein kurzes Antwortmail innerhalb 24-48h machen würden (kann ja auch eine automatische generierte Antwort sein) in welchem sie um Geduld bitten und versichern, dass Sie sich um uns kümmern sobald sie nach sind. Das wäre in jedem Fall um Welten besser als gar keine Reaktion.
I've bought a wheel in America but I am in Europe now, does the power supply support both 110V and 220V-230V so I only need the cord from the power supply to the outlet in Euro style? (I have a converter but would rather just swap the cord if possible)

Why are the Europeans still out quite expensive? I know this is also the case at Logitech, but I just wonder, why?
I would even be happy with a €1 = $1.20 conversion.. When a currency site says: 1 Euro = 1.4104 U.S. dollars

But it's good the price has dropped as I can't wait to buy one, as the G25's FFB can't satisfy me at all. I used a beta wheel before (Before it's pedals went mad) and it's FFB is just tonnes better than a G25. Now I just have to add some money to my bank account. I can't use the wheel anymore in some games, because those want you to have one controller.

yes,if you want to buy dollars it costs you only 80 euros or whatever, but for you in europe 100 Euros are just like 100 Dollars for us here in the States. Your salary doesnt go down just because the euro is stronger compared to the dollar, right?
If only that were the case. I've just moved from the States to the UK and the equivalent income is a lot less here (I know this by comparing salaries for the same positions in the same global company) and most things cost a lot more, especially electronics and software. Its really frustrating, but its just the way it is.
On the other hand we get our health care for free so its not all bad ;)

It is an old story and there are several reasons for it. The main reason are logistic costs.
The VAT is the most obvious.
Shipping items in EU is up to 500% more expensive than in USA and so far we did not forward all that cost directly to the customer.
Exchange rates also go up and down a lot and we cannot make daily prices but another important reason is that we have to react on our competitors.

Does the PWTS dongle open up any additional functionality on the PWT?
From memory the differences were:
Xbox compatible
Self calibrate option
Finer control of FFB and SHO with latest firmware
Also, will a PWTS with the 660 fw update work with the PWT?
PS Now I've asked, I just know Armin is going to ask me to test that :P
The PWT will get no extra
The PWT will get no extra functionality and no Xbox compatibility with the PWTS dongle but the compatibility to PS3 games will be better.
